The most common animals in the area include wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, impalas, giraffes and baboons. Depending on the time of year, elephants are a very common sight given the region lies along an elephant corridor linking Kenya’s Amboseli’s National Park & Mt. Kilimanjaro.
This region is home to the nomadic Maasai herdsmen who co-exist with the surrounding wildlife hence the term Maasai Land. Villages to be visitted by our route are; Rondugai villages, Chemka villages, Boma villages, Sanya villages, Siha Villages, Sanya villages Ngare na nyuki, ngare nairobi maasai villages and olipopongi before get back to Moshi for departure.(At least Cycling experience is needed for this package)
In the morning after breakfast we will departure Moshi and cycling to the west Kilimanjaro Simba Farm, our ride today will take us from the green south-east side of Mt. Kilimanjaro towards westside of mount Kilimanjaro. the ride will initially take us through coffee and banana plantations as you cycle through the different villages from more fertile areas of south-east Kilimanjaro and as you head west we will keep cycling through more arid plains with acacia woodlands, On the way we have a chance to see a wildlife such a girafe, zebra, dik dik, and eland depend to our tour schedule timetable.
Sometimes these plains support a variety of wildlife and great views of mount Kilimanjaro, the western side of mount Kilimanjaro is the home of the nomadic Maasai people who co-exist with the surrounding wildlife, this is why the area is well known as the Maasai Land. The ride will be both rough and tarmac road and we will finish the ride at the Simba Farm where you will overnight and relax before proceeding with our tour in the following day, aproximation distance of this ride is 72 kms.
Our cycle tour today will starts with a downhill slope through the farm as we head toward the main rough road. we will follow the main rough road through the Ngare Nairobi village and cycle along the Ndarakwai Conservancy border towards the West Kilimanjaro airstrip.
Then we will follow the main dirt road towards the Tinga Tinga village, our cycle today will end at the Olpopongi Maasai Village where you will be spending the night. Upon arrival at the Olpopongi Maasai Village you will be welcomed by a traditional Maasai dance and before having lunch and settling into your Maasai-hut style rooms. You will engage in a Maasai cultural tour in the evening before ending your day by enjoying a great dinner around a bonfire.

Kikuletwa/Chemka Hot Springs gets its name from the water that bubbles in underground caves. Chemka is an incredible underground spring with crystal clear water bubbling from underground caves, giving the impression that it is boiling, hence the name "CHEMKA" The Swahili word means boil. The water of this spring is turquoise blue and crystal clear and invites us to a refreshing dive over 6 meters depth.The pool is surrounded by a semi-arid landscape and a sprawling fig tree. (people used to swim there do not forget your swimming gear).
Finally, our tour will be ending up at Moshi town or Kilimanjaro International Airport and then the game will be done.
