Kikuletwa/Chemka Hot Springs gets its name from the water that bubbles in underground caves. Chemka is an incredible underground spring with crystal clear water bubbling from underground caves, giving the impression that it is boiling, hence the name "CHEMKA" The Swahili word means boil. The water of this spring is turquoise blue and crystal clear and invites us to a refreshing dive over 6 meters depth.
The pool is surrounded by a semi-arid landscape and a sprawling fig tree.Chemka is located close to Moshi town in a Rundugai village between Moshi and Arusha about 40kms from Moshi town. the area is the perfect resting place after too much stress from the Kilimanjaro climb or once you get a free day in your hand make it useful by visiting Chemka.
