Kibosho village is located close to Moshi town, which is rich in tourism value, the tourism activities here are historical sites including visiting the Chagga tunnel which was used for security purposes many years ago before the colonialists arrived in this area, visiting waterfalls, villagers lifestyle and sharing with them Chagga banana beer, walking in the big river and picnic site.
Full-day cycling tour to Kibosho villages start from Moshi town in your hotel through Shanty Town, If the weather is clear you will get a magnificent view of Kilimanjaro. Continue to Kwachange point then turn off-road to the big coffee plantations known as Chibo estate, Cross the beautiful Coffee and banana growing.
Then back to the Tamac road, cycling through Mweka village still in a big coffee farm very famous one, Meandering past streams and a thorny area you will have excellent views of Kilimanjaro. Along this route pass by river Karanga towards North East to Kibosho Hospital and Kirima village and you will then find a small rural shopping center.
Here on Tuesday & Friday there is a local market and a chance to see and interact with local people. Next cycle down to the Chaga tunnel and historical site and interact with people around this area if time is enough we will be able to visit waterfalls and walk in the river after lunch steep hill but will be fine at a slow pace. This is a lively village along the tarmac road which leads back to town, cycling 37 Kilometres in 4-6 hours.
