Africa’s tallest indigenous tree measuring about 81.5 meters has been discovered on the remote slopes of the highest mountain in Africa Mount Kilimanjaro. The age of this tree is estimated to be about 600 years, the name of this tree is known as Entandrophragma excelsum trees. The wood of Entandrophragma excelsum is not in much demand for local people applications because it often warps and twists considerably upon drying can be a reason.
