Cycling TO Shira Plateau Day Tour In Mt.Kilimanjaro

Expect some areas with loose rocks, mud, and continuous uphill.

Wether conditions, your fitness level, and your mountain biking skills level will determine how much cycling or pushing mountain bike on Mount Kilimanjaroyou we will be doing this section, if cyclists/tourists are not fit enough to cycle the whole thing from Londorosi gate to helipad/rescue point near Shira two he/she can decide to extend with jeep to the higher level on the mountain near Shira one known as Shira starting point, we will start our mountain bike from there to nearly Shira two campsites the leaves our bike at helipad point then walking to Shira two campsites then later back to ride down to the jeep point. the choice is yours our team is ready for all types of cyclists.

The ride will take us through some features striking vegetation changes ranging from the forest zone followed by the heather and moorland zone to very spectacular views and some magnificent views of Mt Meru and Shira big plateau, and Kibo peak with the absence of cloudy as we head towards the helipad near the Shira Plateau, point to note; Primates can be seen on the road while cycling up the hill to the Shira one and larger animals also can be seen on the heath and moorland zone, this wildlife are Monkeys, Buffalo, elephant dik-dik, bush duikers and eland Elephant and Buffalo are mainly during the night or early in the morning otherwise we will see the sign for their present in the night or the morning After our cycling and lunch, we will then cycle back downhill to Londorossi Gate where will be the end of our cycling package and then be picked up the transferred back to your hotel.
