HIKING MOUNT KILIMANJARO THROUGH MARANGU ROUTE FIVE DAYS

By the time you arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be picked up with our driver and transferred to the hotel where you will have rest and relax or explore Moshi town and the surrounding areas on one of our day tours, visiting the local market known as market for everyone, Moshi city center and some little biking, the choice is yours. FIRST DAY; MOSHI TOWN TO MARANGU GATE

In the morning after breakfast you will departure Moshi and drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Marangu gate, home to the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. When we arrival at the Marangu Gate you will make the registration ready to get in Kilimanjaro, here it will take little bit time before the team of Guides, Chefs and Porters, start trekking they to sort out each and everything to be used to Kilimanjaro for hole days average maximum time is 0ne hour after you get there after that you will be ready to go.

After registration and once the team is ready for the hiking , they will call you you and ready to start hiking as we departure from marangu gate soon we will start the rainforest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, bird life, and Columbus monkeys.
At these lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy as it named rain forest, so gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts should be sufficient, but keep your rain gear and warmer clothing handy.

Wake at midnight to a light breakfast, then prepare for your summit ascent. It would be very cold until you start descending, so you will need all of your warm layers. The goal is to climb all the way to Uhuru Peak shortly after sunrise. Leave at 12;00 AM, switchback up steep or possibly snow, and reach Gilman’s Point on the crater rim at 5,861 m Here, views of the fabled crater and its icecaps greet you.

Please note that; avoid to stay longer at kibo hut after the summit 4720m still high and is possibly allow your body to be attacked by ams , 1-2 hours will be enough to stay then team will call you to the next shift to horombo 3720m

After receiving certificates, Driver with vehicle will take you back to the Hotel in Moshi, where it is definitely time for hot shower and celebration! Departure to the airport or safari tour.
