On the time you arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be picked up with our driver and transferred to the hotel where you will have rest and relax or explore Moshi town and the surrounding areas on one of our day tours, visiting the local market known as market for everyone, Moshi city center and some little biking, the choice is yours. If you’re in Moshi do not worry we will follow you ready for our itineraries or we will come to transfer you to our selected lodge ready for short briefing about our itineraries
In the morning after breakfast you will departure Moshi and biking to Kirua village in this area you will viewing many things on the road especial the way they chagga people living their cash crops food crops and most interesting the road is uphill about 15km thereafter we will bike downhill and uphill till kilema village there also posiible to go for waterfall local market and finally go to Marangu whether lodge or campsite for overnight ready for next day, todays distance is almost 25km but very challenging.
This is the great day in two days cycling. in the morning after breakfast we will cycling to the deferent water falls in Marangu which are Ndoro waterfalls, Kinuka, Mori waterfalls and Kilasia waterfalls , local market Chagga cultural site, caves and marangu enterace gate which is the oldest gate into Kilimanjaro mountain .Today we will spend full day in Marangu village , later afternoon we will start cycling to lake Challa via Maeda Rombo, at lake Challa we will overnight on campsite or lodge the choice is yours and relaxing waiting for the next cycling .
This is special and very challenging day which we will cycling to marangu gate then registration ready to go back to kilema gate for cycling uphill with our bike to Kilimanjaro up to horombo hut which is 3720m if you have the power we can go much further, as we departure from kilema gate soon we will start the rainforest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, bird life, and Colubus monkeys, at these lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy as it named rain forest, keep your rain gear and warmer clothing handily with you.
Please guys to be honest this day is not easy but it is possible , so you should set your mind that you’re going to cycling uphill to second station toward the highest mountain in Africa , your all welcome to challenge your fitness, after horombo hut 3720m take many pictures as you can break .
The new day has come after breakfast , today we will not go back to marangu village directly , we will have uphill biking to the place known as zebra rock the saddle area then downhill cycling back to marangu village for the lunch and relax waiting for next day cycling . Note that this also is more expensive because we will cycling inside of Kilimanjaro national park and climb the mountain with our mountain bike up to more than half way to the top and we will not come back to marangu village in the same day , we will overnight at horombo hut 3720m then the next day we will leave the national park, we must hire cooker and some one to carry a food up to horombo hut for dinner breakfast and lunch, and the mountain bike should be paid for two days 50$*2 as it fees exclude other national park fees
Lake Chala has a huge variety of amazing trees, grasses and plants; some are unique to the area. According to the time of year there are hundreds of species of butterflies and birds, including spectacular birds of prey. The African Fish Eagle, with its hunting techniques, Verreaux’s Eagle, Augur Buzzards and many other species of birds can be seen around the crater walls.
Wild mammals do varies from monkeys to baboons again from dik-dik to kudu, to elephant. Chala is an untouched part of a truly ancient land and a must visit place. The lake is located in a stunning volcanic area on the eastern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Depending on the time of year, its colors range from a vibrant turquoise to a rich emerald green, reflecting a timeless beauty that is etched in Tanzania’s soul. Later afternoon we will start cycling to the Moshi town on the way back to Moshi we will pass Njoro or Rau forest then back to your hotel and this will be the end of our package services ,
